Metalbest Inc. custom metal stamping services deliver precision metal stampings from prototype through production quantities. We run stampings up to .188 thick, but our specialty is high-volume, tight tolerance, precision stampings in a variety of materials from .003-.060 thick. Our presses have full feed lines and are die sensor protection ready. We run nearly 60 million stampings per year at a 98% on time delivery rate.
Our production stamping methods include progressive and single hit dies, using materials such as aluminum, brass, copper, bronze, carbon, stainless steels and exotic metals. We have expertise in deep draw, mandrel, blanking, cam dies, transfer, louvering, insertion and rolled seam dies, among others. Our press capabilities range from 30 to 200 tons. Parts are fully inspected using vision systems, optical comparators, CMM equipment and functional gages. WMPI serves industries including aerospace, defense, medical and electronics, for applications such as heat transfer products, military components and electronic assemblies.
Metalbest Inc. is equipped with state-of-the-art CNC tube benders with touch screen controls, which specifically produce formed tubes. We use our existing tooling systems for bending and fabricating that not only facilitate faster part turnaround but also reduce tooling expenses.

Tube Bending Considerations:
CLR- Center Line Radius: Typical CLR is 3x the OD of the tube without mandrels. It is possible to bend on a 1 or 2xD bend, but not without more complex tooling. Tooling costs also increase when comparing a plug mandrel to 3-ball mandrel & wiper die. The tighter the radius, the more tooling required and the more expensive the part. # Use the same CLR for all bends unless prohibited by design restraints.
Straight between bends: Allow 3x the OD of straight for clamping between bends and from the edge of the tube. This reduces the overall cost of part by reducing additional trim operations and increasing the bend rate. Bends closer than 3xD require compound tooling increasing tooling cost and reducing bend rates |
