Hubei Meibao Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (founded in 1982) is located at southwestern Jingshan County, Hubei Province, China -- in the national scenic forest park at Hubei Taizishan hill. The work site is an ideal place for pharmaceutical production with a beautiful and natural environment of fresh air and pleasant climate. In 2003 the company invested RMB 20 million (US$ 2.65 million) for the comprehensive transformation and expansion of the production buildings, equipments and facilities, work site environment and waste disposal, and in 2004 got the GMP approval. The company covers an area of more than 35,000 square meters with a total construction buildings of over 15,000 square meters, of which 9,000 square meters is for production workshop, 600 square meters power auxiliaries, 2,000 square meters warehousing, 2,000 square meters testing center, and 1,460 square meters office buildings.
